Character developments

In the Storyboard I wanted to expand on the number of characters. The first couple I designed were two of Mary Anning's family members, her father and brother, these were the two main people to inspire Anning to discover fossils. They play an important role in Anning's younger life. To aid the family's income, her father, Mary Anning and Joseph would sell fossils and "Curios" on the beach. 

For one of my frames in the storyboard I wanted to show how celebrated male geologists would visit Mary Anning for consultations on their own discoveries. To create these characters I used some of my experiments with paint for inspiration.
